Donveno Prins stars in his own show on the Baxter stage

Saxophonist and music artist Donveno Prins comes to the Baxter stage with his first one-man show From Elsies to the World in the Baxter Concert Hall for two nights only on 10 & 11 July at 8pm.

Get to know the man behind the saxophone as he takes you on a journey of what he’s all about.  Expect to see a different side to this musician as he gets up-close and personal where audiences will discover and experience the many talents this artist has to offer, and gain insight into both his personal and professional life.

Accompanied by a full live band, you can enjoy an evening of great music, incredible storytelling and funny anecdotes that will keep you wanting more.

Donveno is no stranger to the theatre stage. Born and bred in Elsies River, his musical journey started as a teenager performing with local jazz and gospel bands, to joining the Abdullah Ibrahim music academy.

Today, his been able to carve himself a successful career as an artist in the music industry spanning 15 years.

From Elsies to the World is directed by Alistair Izobell and includes originally composed music, and will be performed in English and Afrikaans with some amazing stories that will make for an enjoyable night out.
