Playwright Anele Rusi fearlessly confronts the reality of police corruption in this drama about a policeman who is accused of shooting an innocent, unarmed bystander. The inquest that follows reveals not only the officer’s damaged psyche, but also, in an echo of the old South Africa, the cracks in the “system”.
