“There are plenty of better, gloriously selfish reasons to spend time at our theatre and bar, like getting laid more…” is the claim made by Alexander Theatre Upstairs

Best to read more!

“I often get people scrunching up their faces and saying to me in a pained and burdened squeal of a voice, “I really should come support your theatre more”. I know they mean well, but the last thing we want is people dragging themselves to watch something with the last scrap of pious duty they could muster. There are plenty of better, gloriously selfish reasons to spend time at our theatre and bar, like getting laid more ‘cos getting out and communing in live performance makes you less of a myopic bore. The line-up is positively bursting with drama, music, readings, talks, tastings, courses and more.”
