In November 2014 Ceramics SA has planned a month long celebration of ceramic events under the umbrella title of ‘from african earth; A CELEBRATION OF CERAMICS’.
This month of ceramics exhibitions, workshops and festivals is Ceramics SA’s contribution to Cape Town’s status as World Design Capital.
It is also planned to be a continuing calendar event each year when nationally and internationally it will be known that in Cape Town ‘November is Ceramics Month’.
The aim of Ceramics Southern Africa is to promote, market and provide ongoing learning for our members through exhibitions, markets and workshops. Our mission is to provide opportunities for our members both established and emerging, to be self-sustaining entrepreneurs, innovators, teachers and mentors thereby keeping South African ceramics relevant and competitive locally and internationally.
