A Glimpse – Dress and Fashion in Africa, at the Mogalakwena Gallery, showcases African dress and fashion as influenced by history and also exhibits art works inspired by African dress and fashion. As part of the celebration of the World Design Capital Cape Town 2014 event the run of the exhibition has been extended to March 2014.
The gallery re-opened on 6th of January 2014 after closing for the holiday break from the 19th of December 2013.
The gallery continues to show new work from the Mogalakwena Craft Art Foundation on the first floor. Mogalakwena exhibits works that reflect cultural aspects of the African continent.
