Already well known as a home for African craft and design, the Watershed has added a new event, The Good Night Market, to Cape Town’s monthly schedule.

The Good Night Market is a monthly event celebrating local and continental arts and creativity by bringing a creative showcase to the Watershed for you to enjoy.  Coming soon: it’s this Wednesday, 29 July 2015 from 6 to 9pm.

From photography exhibitions and art displays to live music and performance art, visitors are in for a surprise each month as a different showcase is highlighted at the market. Expect to find food trucks, a drinks bar and live music will entertain you while browsing the Watershed’s offerings and the month’s creative showcase.

Entertainment at this month’s market will come from local band The Kiffness & the City and also include a variety of performance elements from the Waterfront Theatre School. Dedicated to bringing visitors a different creative showcase each month, Wednesday’s market will showcase a number of exhibitions, from a Coke Doodle Activation and Fashion Week Designer Exhibition, to a Pottery and Design Exhibit and Photography Exhibition by photographer Patrick McKenna.

You will also be treated to an expanded food selection at the Good Night Market, with nine additional food trucks being brought to the venue for the evening. Hungry patrons can purchase everything from lamb shoulder, a Springbok burger, chilli poppers and wraps, to draft beer, ciders, wine an champagne, to enjoy as they browse the Watershed and this month’s exhibitions.
