Introdans brings Superstars to the Baxter

Introdans, the internationally re-knowned Arnhem-based modern dance company, is bringing Superstars to the Baxter Theatre from 10 to 14 September 2013.

The production will include several masterpieces by top international choreographers. The tour forms part of the Dutch company’s South African tour that includes Durban in early September followed by a limited season in the Mother City.

This visit marks the sixth time that Introdans has performed in the country and Superstars will showcase works by internationally renowned choreographers. The Artistic director Roel Voorintholt has selected five outstanding works for this tour programme, namely Polish Pieces by Hans van Manen, Pas de Danse by Mats Ek, Evening Songs by Jiri Kylian, Anaphase by Ohad Naharin and Sinfonía India by Nacho Duato. Introdans has twice before graced the Baxter Theatre main stage, with Celebrations in 2009 and Spirit in 2010.
