JiVE Cape Town Funny Festival founder Eddy Cassar emphasizes the unique blend of local and international talent: “Our philosophy has evolved to champion the exceptional stand-up comedy flourishing in South Africa, complemented by world-class variety acts sourced globally. This creates a truly unique and entertaining experience for our audiences.”

Beyond the laughs, the JiVE Funny Festival continues its commitment to nurturing new talent through the JiVE Funny Championships, offering a platform for emerging comedians. Furthermore, the festival proudly supports Operation Smile, raising crucial funds to provide life-changing cleft palate surgeries for children.
