La Motte Hiking Trail. If you are relatively fit and have a sense of adventure, this 5 km trail along the Wemmershoek mountains on the estate is just the thing for you. Hike through vineyards and indigenous fynbos, explore GPS-marked fan leave aloes, use a detailed card for navigation and identify the wealth of birds on the farm. Booking is essential.
