Mayor of Cape Town, Patricia de Lille, will be visiting 9 beaches from Friday,19 to 21 December as part of a festive season “I love my beach” campaign.
This campaign will focus on beach cleanliness and safety for all during the summer holiday, in line with our efforts to promote a well-run and safe city.
The Mayor will be joined by several members of the Mayoral Committee during the campaign. They will engage with beachgoers on how to keep safe and help keep our beaches clean over the festive period.
Limited edition “I love my beach” merchandise and pamphlets on beach safety will also be distributed.
