The Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town, presents its largest Graduate Exhibition yet, this December, featuring fifty-seven students completing their Bachelor Degrees and Post Graduate Diplomas in Fine Art.

This annual end-of-year exhibition offers these aspiring young artists the opportunity to present their final work to the public. The selection of works exhibited cover a diverse range of mediums; with painting, sculpture, new media, print media, photography, and everything in between. The exhibition takes place in over thirty spaces across UCT’s Hiddingh Campus.

The opening takes place on Wednesday 3 December at 18:00. It promises to be a wonderful, festive occasion, with refreshments, speeches, and the much-anticipated announcement of the Michaelis Prize Winner. An annual highlight in the local arts calendar, this highly anticipated event draws crowds of eager gallery-goers, and aspiring and established collectors.

Nearly all of the work exhibited will be for sale, and a comprehensive catalogue available for purchase will accompany the exhibition.
