Garden Day is a family affair!

Norval Foundation Garden Day takes place in the Sculpture Garden to welcome spring on Sunday 9 October 2022. from 10:00 – 17:00.

Norval Garden Day serves to welcome spring with a garden celebration and take advantage of the beautiful Sculpture Garden and the latest exhibitions in the museum. All tickets can be purchased via Webtickets or at the Front Desk on the day.

  • R320 per person which includes Annual Membership entrance to the Sculpture Garden and Museum, tastings and a wine glass to take home.
  • R300 per person which includes Day Pass entrance to the Sculpture Garden and Museum, tastings and a
    wine glass to take home.
  • R100 for existing Annual Members for tastings and a wine glass to take home.
  • R180 per person which includes a Day Pass entrance to the Sculpture Garden and Museum (excluding
    tastings and wine glass).
  • All kids activities are separately ticketed and can be purchased on Webtickets.
  • All kids under 18 years are FREE

This year Norval  are celebrating spring with wine tasting, picnic baskets (pre-ordered from the  Skotnes Restaurant), a gin offering hosted by Two Gingers Gin and craft beer tasting with Noon Gun Brewery.

There will be kids entertainment throughout the day. Norval also invite all indigenous garden lovers to join  fa 90-minute garden tour led by consultant in plant conservation and restoration horticulturalist, Alex Lansdowne. With a vast knowledge of the Sculpture Garden, Lansdowne will engage you in a fascinating look at the biodiversity and extensive plant life we celebrate here at the Foundation.

Garden Day is a family affair and you are invited to bring your kids along for lots of engaging and fun entertainment throughout the day. The programme includes the following:
11:00 – 11:30 (all ages) Magic Show hosted by Amos, Spaghei Balloon Man  R40
11:00 – 12:00 (all ages) Jungle Theater Play R70
10:00 – 10:45 (1-4 years) Play by Nature R160
10:00 – 11:00 (4-10 years) Play by Nature R160
12:00 – 12:45 (1-4 years) Play by Nature R160
12:00 – 13:00 (4-10 years) Play by Nature R160
14:00 – 14:30 and 16:00 – 16:30(all ages) Magic Show hosted by Amos, Spaghei Balloon Man R40

The following Wine Estates and Gin & Craft Beer brands will be with us on the day offering tastings (R300 per ticket which includes Sculpture Garden and Museum Day Pass entrance and a wine glass to take home):
Eagles Nest Constantia, Constantia Glen, Groot Constantia, Constantia Royale, Beau Constantia, Steenberg and Silvermist Wine Estates. Two Gingers Gin and Noon Gun Brewery for cra beer and gin tastings. All of these partners will also be selling their products on the day.
