Now Lara Foot gives this classic tale a Cape Town twist. Set in the early 1900s, Scrooge, aka Marc Lottering, and the talented star studded cast offers up an hilarious almost pantomine take on this Dickens classic. Charles must be chuckling! And so will anyone with a sense of humour…..
The full cast comprises comedian Marc Lottering, Andrew Buckland, Shaleen Surtie-Richards, Christo Davids, Nur Abrahams and Poseletso Segosinjoe. Joining them on stage is the Scrooge Children’s Choir, a group of over 100 talented learners from three different Cape Town communities. And these talented young performers with a charming stage presence certainly add value.
