Established in 1926, the Guga S’Thebe Arts and Cultural Centre is the focal point for cultural improvement and empowerment of Langa. Langa township is one of the oldest townships in South Africa and the cultural centre is equipped with an amphitheatre, conference room, meeting rooms, exhibition areas, art studios, a resource centre, an Internet café and also a Cape Town Tourism Visitor Centre.
