This is one of only six Cape Town beaches to have attained Blue Flag Status. There is an enclosed water park, playground, picnic area and other facilities. The long sandy beach is good for walking. Nearby Monwabisi Beach Resort is well known for its rollicking parties, but beware of a very strong current.
