Located in a nearly 350-year-old Cape Dutch cottage, the museum tells the story of dogs in South Africa through a diverse range of exhibits, including ceramic art, photography, paintings, dog-related short films, canine-inspired music, and personal stories of humans and their dogs from around the world. Visitors can expect to spend approximately an hour exploring the museum.
The museum also features a small coffee shop, a children’s play area, and a gift shop, and is dog-friendly to well-behaved, leashed furry friends. Proudly based in Cape Town, we invite you to join us in honouring these loyal companions.
