Room With a View is group exhibition encompassing paintings, installation and sculpture brings together a group of diverse contemporary artists who focus on interiors as the subject matter.
The exhibition opens on Wednesday 15 March 2023 at Ebony/Curated Cape Town.
These artists view interiors as a subject matter to be used both as a means of exploring concerns, mind states and ideas as well as the underlying implications of our personal interior beings. The ‘room’ or ‘interior’ always has something to say and viewing these works we are able to explore the notion of memory, social and political movements, relationships and sexuality as well as our impact on the environment.
