Dr Shahieda Jansen is the guest at the Woman Zone Book Club where the conversation will focus around men and her book ‘Masculinity meets Humanity’.
What began as an ’accidental’ group therapy session with a bunch of male students nearly 25 years ago turned first, into a compelling interest, and eventually into the study and practice of effective treatment of boys and men’s mental health. And ultimately this carefully collated book: Masculinity meets Humanity:An adapted model of masculinised Psychotherapy.
Author and compassionate clinical psychologist,
Dr Shahieda Jansen shares the journey and what she has learned along the way with Nancy Richards.
