Silo Concerts return to V&A this Friday 4 November with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra. These FREE Live Music Concerts at the Silo District will continue from November 2022 to April 2023!
Silo Concerts in partnership with Hendricks Gin are back to entertain visitors to the Waterfront’s neighbourhood from November 2022. Established in 2018, the concerts quickly gained in popularity and soon became an annual series of memorable events, before the onset of the pandemic brought an end to public events. The Waterfront has previously featured orchestras, Jazz and Kwela Bands, singer Amanda Black and The Soil to name a few.
Visitors to the V&A can look forward to an exciting and varied concert line-up as part of the 2022/2023 series, which kicks off with a performance by the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra in November.
The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra will perform on Friday, 04 November at the Silo District. Founded in 1914, the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra is arguably the most versatile and active orchestra on the continent of Africa, contributing handsomely to Cape Town’s global status and appeal. The multi-functional orchestra delivers a world-class orchestra service to all communities in the region, participating in festivals and concerts and across all genres of music for all to enjoy.
