There are only two more Saturday nights to enjoy the Solms-Delta Summer Concert Series, culminating with the Franschhoek Oesfees celebration on 23 March.
“We visited the Solms-Delta Wine Estate on the evening of one of their summer concerts, and had a delightful time. Solms-Delta is much more than a wine estate. Located 15km outside the village of Franschhoek in the heart of the Cape Winelands, Solms-Delta has done an amazing job of addressing the reality of South Africa’s apartheid history by undertaking an ambitious educational initiative for the townsfolk whose elders suffered under the prior political regime,” writes Brad Auerbach in Entertainment Today.
“Our evening at Solms-Delta was a complete joy. The regional food and delightful wine was a catalyst for an invigorating evening of history and music. The feast (and feat) of good wine, a Cape braai and an extravagence of high energy music on Saturday night won over an informed group from the United States, Germany and South Africa. Solms-Delta rocked with genuine good spirit and great talent.
