Soul Awakening by Michaela Rinaldi is the exhibition that opens at StateoftheART on 3 April.
“A collection of pieces spanning the last two years… a pivotal growth period in Michaela’s life that she calls her ‘soul awakening’.
Every piece is an expression of an emotion or a subconscious stirring. An awakening of self, a journey of self-acceptance. Included are works based on the sad realization of the atrocities of the apartheid regime that Michaela lived through as a teenager, but was oblivious to at the time.”
WHEN: Opens Thursday 03 April 5pm – 9pm. Exhibition runs until the 19th of April. Gallery hours: 10-5 weekdays, 10-2 Saturdays.
