South Africans have always known that “our” mountain is something special, but now a new study has revealed that Cape Town’s iconic mountain is the 5th Most Popular natural wonder of the world. And every seasoned traveller knows the best tours and holidays are the ones that let you explore the unique natural wonders you can’t find anywhere else.
“But which natural wonders are guaranteed to take your breath away, and which are severely overrated? We’ve dived into the data, looking into their popularity on Instagram and TikTok as well as Google search volumes and Tripadvisor reviews to find out.”

This is not the first time that the Mother City’s iconic mountain has been acknowledged.
Table Mountain made it into Africa’s top 10 most visited tourist attractions in 2021.
