Each month The Big Issue showcases work by Vendors, which is available for sale. The Big Issue offers vendors therapeutic art and writing classes as part of its social development programme. They are taught by artist and facilitator Elaine Millin. These artworks are proudly displayed in The Big Issue’s on-line gallery – and are for sale.

MapMyWay foucuses on the work of Khanyisa Gogotya, 31 (Vendor number: #3063). It is her painting titled Aloe Valley that we feature.
Khanyisa Gogotya is a mother of three and joined The Big Issue in February 2012. She received a bursary to study Sports Fitness at Northlink College in 2012 and no longer sells the magazine as often as she used to. She is now in her second year of studies. She already has a diploma in nursing and would like to own her very own healing clinic one day. Her dream is to help injured athletes get well.
