The new, and highly anticipated, 2014 & 2015 World Cinema Season at the Fugard Theatre Bioscope kicks off in September this year.
For the fourth consecutive year, The Fugard Theatre Bioscope will once again partner with The Royal Opera House, The Royal Ballet and Bolshoi Ballet Companies as well as Great Britain’s National Theatre Live Season bringing Cape Town audiences the very finest in theatre, opera and ballet, from the World’s most famous stages, all in full digital high-definition and surround-sound on an enormous cinema screen in the comfort of the Fugard Theatre.
The 11am Sunday morning screenings will commence on Sunday 28 September 2014 with Great Britain’s National Theatre Live recorded screening of A Small Family Business written by Alan Ayckbourn.

The Fugard Theatre Bioscope screenings have proven very popular amongst the Fugard Theatre audiences with record attendances since the first season in 2011 and enjoys continued growing support.
