SAADA has gone through a rebranding exercise and is placing far more emphasis on Art and Design. They have changed the venue for the next fairĀ being held in February 2015 to The Lookout at the V&A Waterfront.
Now in the hands of SAADAās new (and youngest) CEO, Paul Mrkusic, and with the help of Utopia āĀ up-and-coming design and brand specialists based in Cape Town, the Association has relaunched itself in August 2014 with a tweaked name, from The South African Antique Dealersā AssociationĀ toĀ The South African Antiques Art and Design Association, a new corporate image and logo, and a very fresh and exciting outlook that will expand its already faithful market to include a somewhat younger, hipper and more culturally diverse market with the same exacting standards.
With this rebranding in mind they have changed the venue for the next fairĀ being held in February 2015 to The Lookout at the V&A Waterfront and in addition to the usual line-up of member exhibitors, they will also include some fresh new exhibitors, dealers and designers, who complement their standard of excellence. The public will be able to enjoy a diverse range of objects including Art ā Contemporary and Classical, Antiques and Modern Design, Silver, Jewellery, Coins, Books, Carpets and Oriental Collectables.
