Thupelo Cape Town Trust invites you to view artworks from the worshop at Greatmore Studios, Woodstock on 23 September 2017 from 11am – 3pm.
The Thupelo workshops is a two week workshop that provide artists from diverse cultural, national and social backgrounds with a rare opportunity to work with fellow artists in an intense yet supportive environment.
The creative processes in the workshops are designed to lead to personal artistic growth through the exchange of ideas, experiences, techniques and disciplines. The exchange leads to experimentation and growth.
Thupelo Worhop 2017
This year Thupelo invited 17 artists to participate in the Thupelo workshop at Greatmore Studios, Woodstock from 9 September – 22 September 2017.

Alex Abrahams, Anthony Cawood, Elizabeth Bills, Garth Jacobs, Haji Chilonga, Janet Ranson, Jill Trappler, Kathleen Sawyer, Khanyisile Mbongwa, Lionel Davis, Melissa Charles, Nukwase Tembo, Option Dzikamai, Sigrid Wallskog, Scott Eric Williams, Thembinkosi Koli and Zbys Kaczmarek
Greatmore Studios will also be hosting the Open Studios with all its artists.
Hot off the heels of his solo exhibition at the AVA Rory Emmett will also do a special performance sometime during the day which coincides with his Concerning Alchemy body of work.
