Be bewitched at the World of Magic Show!
Whether by magic or by sleight of hand, magicians from the College of Magic will cast their spell over visitors to the Waterfront’s Amphitheatre during the October holidays.
Every day from 2pm, between Monday, 6 October and Friday, 10 October, real life wizards will combine smoke and mirrors, mystical illusions and sleight of hand to charm audiences of all ages at the free World of Magic Show.
During the show members of the audience will rub their eyes in disbelief as their very thoughts are read and cute bunnies are pulled out of seemingly empty hats. The whisk of a magic wand will create ‘hocus pocus’ as objects appear, disappear, float or undergo a complete metamorphous, all at the speed of lightening.
The show has been produced by the non-profit College of Magic, South Africa’s own Hogwarts, where talented young magicians have been trained in magical arts for the past 30 years. The college is the home of magic in the Southern Hemisphere and currently holds 17 national and two international awards in magic. Graduates trained at the Magical Arts Centre go on to perform all around the world.
Don’t miss an utterly bewitching show.
