The Two Oceans Aquarium will be extending its Summer Holidays opening hours from 21 December 2019 to 10 January 2020, and will be open from 09h00 until 19h00 (closing at 18h00 on 25 December). The extended hours are perfect for those who like to stretch their days of leisure a bit longer.
The longer days of summer sees people either running around to get ready for festivities, or relaxing, soaking up the rays and having fun in the sun. The Aquarium’s extended hours allow visitors to pop in during times when the Aquarium is a bit quieter, and thus extend their relaxation time against the ever-changing backdrop of magnificent exhibits. There are few things more soothing than the serene swaying of the kelp in the Kelp Forest Exhibit (see photo above), or the shimmering of silvery fish as they swim past – just ask the scientists and they will tell you that watching fish swim has a calming and de-stressing effect.
