WOZA first Friday is back at Zeitz MOCAA! Enjoy a late-night opening and half-price entry (R100) from 4pm on Friday, 6 March.

Join Zeitz MOCAA for an unmissable music experience with acclaimed artists brought together by GuerillaClassics for their tour of South Africa.

Woza Friday, Zeitz MOCAA, GuerillaClassics

Formed in 2017, GuerillaClassics works with musicians from across the world to bring classical music to a 21st century audience.

The programme includes new compositions by South Africa’s Neo Muyanga (whose sounds can also be experienced in William Kentridge’s exhibition currently on view), and Swiss musician, Nik Bärtsch.

Other musicians who will also feature include Sarah Evans, Nomapostile Nyiki, and Lungiswa Plaatjes.

The set will also showcase the Cosmic Percussion Ensemble, playing works by composers from all over the world.
