The award-winning romantic drama, shot in Morocco, with touches of Hitchcock and Antonioni, is about a young woman, lost and alone, and suffering from amnesia, as a result of a mysterious car accident in a desolate stretch of the Sahara desert, who is rescued by Jake, a reclusive architect, who claims to be her husband. He names her Kitty, and she gradually falls in love with him. But as Kitty starts to regain her memory, he fears that he may lose her.
