The V&A Waterfront will again host Cape Town’s biggest New Year celebration.
Usual attractions and facilities open at 9am. From 6.30pm a range of performers and colourful Cape Town Carnival characters will entertain revellers from the Amphitheatre and kids playground area to the Alfred Mall, Nobel Square, the Clock Tower and the Silo District.
As always, the spectacular midnight fireworks display is co-sponsored by the City of Cape Town and the V&A Waterfront.
Restaurants need to be booked in advance, but the Food Court will be open till late, and various food trucks will be positioned across the property.
