Taking the Stage at the Amphitheatre on Sunday, 16 January 2022, is Afro-fusion band, Peter Ndlala’s Unit 5 (see photo above). The group comprises an array of artists from the Cape Flats, all with varying musical backgrounds that jointly produce a great sound and a wide repertoire of works. Peter’s style is unique with rhythms, harmonies, and melodies keeping you on edge as every song tells a story of his journey, both musically and personally. - TAKE THE STAGE PRESENTS: The Pedestrians
Firing up the floor on Saturday 29 January 2022 at Noble Square, is Cape Town-based group, The Pedestrians. They are a young, multi-genre band that has been around for five years. The Pedestrians debuted their single “So much fun” in 2018, and went on to collaborate with Craig Lucas on his hit single called “Smother”. They previously performed at The Joy of Jazz International Festival held in Johannesburg in 2015, Jazz on the Rocks in Tietiesbaai, and several other festivals in and around Cape Town including The Cape Town International Jazz Festival.
