Gustavo Romero is back in Cape Town presenting all the complete Schubert Piano Sonatas over 4 concerts, running from 7 to 13 January at the Baxter Theatre Centre – the start of the classical music scene in Cape Town. See below for the programme.
Cape Town Concert Series Plans for 2023
Cape Town Concert Series opens their season in February with the Cape Town Baroque Orchestra.
In March violinist Rachel-Lee Friday will present a programme of Schubert, Beethoven, Poulenc and Bartok with pianist Francois Du Toit.
In April CTCS will celebrate our local musicians in a mixed chamber music programme.
May features tenor Levy Sekgapane in a recital of Rossini, Donizetti, Tosti and more.
The season ends in June with a recital featuring the exciting pianist Emanuel Ivanov who won the hearts of audiences last year at the Stellenbosch Piano Symposium.
