The Vuleka Competition Finalists Exhibition opens at artb Gallery on 3 August when the winners will be announced.
The more than R 65 000 worth of prizes, with the whopping R 50 000 Conrad Theys first prize drew more than 245 entries from all over South Africa.
This year artb also have a special prize donated by Kingsbridge Art of R5000 for framing an artist under 30 years.
On exhibition are just under 60 high-quality artworks in a vast range of different mediums from painting, sculpture, photography, collembroidery and more.
The Judges this year are Zimasile Mjokozeli, Theo Paul Vorster and Cindie Ah Ling.
There will be a fascinating range artworks on display, which has to be seen to be believed. Get to the opening on Saturday 3 August and be the first to know who the winners are!
And we suggest that you diarise that artb Gallery will host a collection of works by some of the top Ceramicists in the Western Cape and beyond. Every year artb Gallery adds artists who use other mediums into the Mix. This year the mix is wood and assemblage.
