Roelof Rossouw is celebrating 30 years of success with a Solo Exhibition at The Cape Gallery, opening on Sunday 26 January 2025.
This exhibition is a celebration of Roelof Rossouw’s long and successful career. The artist’s popular land, city and sea scenes have brought to life the complex and diverse cultural legacy of the Western Cape and shed light on the industry of the ordinary people, the farmers, fishermen and traders who participate in maintaining the living heritage as we know it today.
In a remarkably frank essay (30 YEARS), Rossouw tells his own story.
Included in the solo exhibition are some scenes from abroad, recollections of past trips to Zanzibar, France, Ukraine, UK and the Netherlands.
