What to expect at the Jewish Literary Festival 2025 was one of the items on Fine Music Radio’s Book Choice, hosted as always by Paige Nick and with Mzu Mkete on controls.
Co-Chairs of the Jewish Literary Festival 2025, Vanessa Valkin and Caryn Gootkin take us through the very full programme for the day. Essentially you have 3 sessions before lunch and two sessions after the lunch break. Each session offers you a choice of 5 options in 5 separate venues. At the end +/-3:30pm, there will be a break, followed by a Plenary Session for ALL with special guest from New York, David Baddiel, author of My Family: The Memoir. “A searingly honest, funny and moving family memoir in which David Baddiel exposes his mother’s idiosyncratic sex life, and his father’s dementia, to the same affectionate scrutiny.” It promises to be a memorable end to the day!
Listen in to the podcast, or go to the Programme, which will be easier to read
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY BOOK SOONEST! There are a limited number of people that can be accommodated, and we would love to see ALL booklovers there. And isn’t it incredible that Book Choice’s very own Paige Nick, who has just published Book People, will be in the sessions titled The Lighter Side of Life!
