Cape Town favourite Antonio Pompa Baldi returns to the celebrated Cape Town Concert Series platform on May, 26 at 20:00 at the Baxter Concert Hall.
Born and raised in Foggia, Italy, it was on winning the Cleveland International Piano Competition in 1999 that lead to an international career for Pompa-Baldi, who is one of the most popular artists on the international stage today.

He will perform a variety of genres from classical to popular and Neapolitan songs like Hummel’s Sonata Op.13 in E flat, Five French songs of Poulenc and Edith Piaf, Poulenc’s Napoli, Fantasia Op. 51 by Giuseppe Martucci, the Sonata Tragica by Medtner and Roberto Piana’s Improvisations on Neapolitan Songs.
