Art In The Yard opens their new exhibition TRIUMVIRATE – /trʌ ɪˈʌmvɪrət/ as part of Art Franschhoek,on Friday 25 October.
TRIUMVIRATE – /trʌ ɪˈʌmvɪrət/ Definition: a group of three powerful or notable people or things.
Art In The Yard are proud to present this festival exhibition which runs from 25 October to 19 November 2019, with strong focus on the three timeless cornerstones of art in their contemporary state: Portraits, Landscapes and Still Life.
Featured artists will include Frans Smit and Kelly John-Gough; Lindsay Patton and Nicolas de Jesus; as well as Diane McLean, Amos Letsoalo, Sander de Klerk, ceramicist Lee-Ann Becker – all new to the stable, and renowned sculptor and landscape artist, Strijdom van der Merwe, whose exquisite work (see photo above) we are proud to introduce in our gallery for the first time.
