Barnard Gallery presents the group exhibition ‘Collective’ until 17 January 2023.
The exhibitions includes work by selected gallery artists as well as invited industry practitioners. Collaborating with both emerging and mid-career artists from Africa and Europe, the gallery will present a focus on painting, highlighting recent local and international developments in the genre with a particular exploration of the resurgence of Abstraction in contemporary art.
Participating artists are Jo Hummel, Tom Cullberg, Jennifer Morrison, Katherine Spindler, Paul Senyol, Justin Dingwall in collaboration with Roman Handy, Nicholas Hales, Asha Zero, Jo O’Connor, Alexia Vogel, Jaco van Schalkwyk and Lien Botha.
