Sarah Walters invites you to be bowled over by BOWLS the new exhibition opening at her studio gallery in Newlands Village.
“We have twelve participants altogether, and what is exciting is that we have two wood turners amongst some of Cape Town’s leading potters. All our makers have produced BOWLS for the exhibition, from earthenware to porcelain, high fired to low fired, functional and non functional, wood and clay, we have something for everyone!” says gallery owner and ceramicist Sarah Walters.
The exhibition begins this Saturday 15th May and runs for two weeks until Saturday 29th May. They will not be having an official opening, and all Covid protocols will be observed.
This boutique ceramics gallery had its beginnings in featuring the work of father and daughter potters David and Sarah Walters, with exhibitions focusing on a wide range of themes and other leading potters. The gallery has a wide range of handmade, functional and decorative studio ceramics. And you are also welcome to watch Sarah in her working studio.
