Promoting cycling, fitness and a healthy lifestyle, the Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo runs until 16h00 on Saturday, 5 March.

The Expo is the largest of its kind in Africa and organisers anticipate roughly 70 000 visitors to make their way through 420 stands of cycling megastore over three days.

Promoting cycling, fitness and a healthy lifestyle, the 2016 Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo is a cyclist’s heaven – from top road and mountain bikes, gadgets, to a fully-equipped Pick n Pay food hall, it’s a must-see for all sport enthusiasts.

Some of the Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo’s many highlights this year include the Powerade Train like an Olympian activation which involves three testing stations assessing participants performance levels and providing them insight into their technique and the opportunity to improve themselves, just as an Olympian would.

The Momentum Wellness Centre is also proving popular as Cycle Tour participants make the most of the free medical checks on offer to screen for blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose levels ahead of race day.

Cape Town Cycle Tour entrants must visit the Cycle Tour Expo to collect their race packs. Once-off Expo entry for participants is free-of-charge through cyclists RaceTec chip.

General admission tickets for the public are also available at R40 per person.
