Hosted by the Craft + Design Institute (CDI) in collaboration with the historic Castle of Good Hope, this monthly market has become the city’s favourite family-friendly creative destination.

- Kuier@TheCastle invites you to experience a day filled with art, culture, and community spirit. Celebrate the love for Cape Town’s creative talent as you explore a vibrant marketplace showcasing handcrafted homeware, fashion, art, and accessories by some of the city’s most talented artisans.
Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere with live music, mouthwatering local food, and creative workshops for all ages designed to spark joy and connection. It’s a day dedicated to loving local and supporting the creative heart of Cape Town.
Family fun, creativity, and history
ï‚· Workshops for all ages: The Creative Corner will host themed workshops throughout the day, offering visitors a chance to craft their own keepsakes. Kids can dive into creative activities designed especially for them, ensuring smiles all around.
 Explore the Castle: Beyond the market, visitors can step into history with access to the Castle of Good Hope’s world-class museums and exhibitions. In addition to the market, Kuier@TheCastle visitors will have access to the Castle of Good Hope’s world-class museums and exhibitions, including the William Fehr Collection and the Cape Heritage Museum, which feature on the Art Craft + Museums Map. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the rich history of this iconic site.
