David Bester and José Dias – the next Caped Town Concert Series recital is this coming Saturday 19th March at the Baxter Concert Hall. They will take us on a wonderfully expressive time in music from nearly 100 years ago with violin and piano works from Stravinsky through lush Strauss to popular Kreisler.
The programme was presented to a sold out and enthusiastic audience this past weekend at La Motte and will tour also to Port Elizabeth and Knysna.
The Concert takes place at 11am in the Baxter Concert Hall. There will also be a short in-conversation with the artists afterwards where they will talk more about the music and what draws them to this particular era.
The Baxter is fairly quiet on Saturday mornings providing the perfect space for our concerts with the bar and restaurant open for refreshments in the well ventilated foyer before and after the concert. Masks are required to be worn at all times inside the Baxter Concert Hall.
