Following its success in Johannesburg, the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival pops up in Cape Town, featuring restaurants, food markets and music acts including Brand New Heavies, Soul II Soul, Freshlyground, Mi Casa and The Soil.

Bliksem!, a Comic Art Africa Exhibition, will showcase talented local artists who produce comics independently. Some of the artists include Susan Opperman, Ben Winfield, They Did This and Daniel Hugo.

Comedian Marc Lottering is back with his new one-man show called This Is Captain Lottering ­Speaking. The storyline is set at the airport and features Lottering’s popular characters – Auntie Merle Abrahams, Galatia Geduldt and Travis.

Acclaimed South African contemporary artist Penny Siopis’s latest retrospective exhibition, Time and Again, looks back at her career over three decades. Known for tackling themes such as sexuality, race and memory, Siopis has worked across different genres such as painting, video and installation. Audiences will see some of Siopis’s well-known artwork, including her early Cake and History paintings.
