Frederike Stokhuyzen – Solo Exhibition – this latest exhibition of work presents a full circle, culminating in 60 years of artistic brilliance as she expresses the essence of her soul, returning to the foundations of her artistic training in design.
With raw vulnerability and courage, Frederike invites the viewer into a vibration of intense colour, design and form. This unapologetic use of a vivid palette and subtle deconstruction of form provides a departure from the familiar, to a sense of freedom that vibrates on the canvas. Frederike’s passion and intrinsic sense of design and skill is evident as her personal interpretation and relationship with the subject matter unfolds through bold expressions of colour, form, light and contrast.
The selection of paintings delivers a sensory journey that connects to the soul and emanates a sense of wonder and joy.
