The Online Resources page on the Two Oceans Aquarium website has been updated to include a Kids Programme with activities specifically aimed at children between the ages of three and ten years of age.
Parents, teachers and anyone who is looking to learn something new, or would just like some amazing reading material – Two Oceans Aquarium has got you covered.
“The Covid-19 self-isolation period is the perfect time to get the grey matter working. Over the years our blog has produced some really awesome gems. Stuck for information about sharks? We’ve got it. Wanting to learn about the penguins of the world? You’ll find it here. Uncertain about the actual facts around plastic in the ocean? We have all the info.
Our resource page is crammed with blogs that delve deep into fascinating subjects. There is bound to be something that you will find fascinating, intriguing, and in some cases hilariously funny.
We would also like to know what you would like to see added to this page, so let us know by sending us a message or comment on Facebook or Twitter. We want to give you the information that you are looking for!”
The activities are all fun and educational and include printable colouring in pages, word search puzzles and suggestions for physical activities that can be done around the home.
There is also a wonderful turtle mask to make, a fun lesson on the food chain, and great educational and entertaining information about sea turtles and the threats that they face.
