The Galileo Open Air Cinema presents The Rocky Horror Picture Show on the croquet lawns at the V&A Waterfront tonight, Thursday 26 February.

You are encouraged to dress up according to the theme, and will be treated to a special performance by drag artist Sasha Le Strange. Can we hear you say Sweet Transvestite?

Taking the sub-culture scene in Cape Town by storm, Sasha Le Strange is a force to be reckoned with. Breaking down barriers and prejudice by educating the masses on what it means to celebrate uniqueness, Sasha is an advocate for humanity in the true sense of the word; “why be the same, when you can be different?” is her motto.

Visit The Galileo website to book your ticket for an evening of fun, friends, good food and dress up – yes, prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed couple. Doors open at 6pm sharp and the movie starts as soon as it is dark. Arrive early to take advantage of the market vibe and delicious, mouth-watering artisanal food, wine and bar drinks, all of which are on sale before the show. Reserve your spot on the lawn with a comfy backrest and a warm blanket, both of which you can hire.
