Comedian Nik Rabinowitz is in top form in Fortyfied at the Baxter.
Nik is in sharp form as he hilariously takes his audience through a minefield of potentially sacrosanct issues with a sharp irreverence and smart, self-effacing humour.
Apparently 40 is the new 30 so now he’s not sure when to have the crisis, which is a crisis in itself. He’s also just had a third baby – so really, he can’t have a midlife crisis – there’s no time!
There’s certainly no time between laugh out loud moments and delighted guffaws to catch one’s breath. This is a high energy comedic routine that takes no prisoners.
In Fortyfied, as in most of his previous shows, Nik explores a variety of subjects. There will be stories, there will be moments of discomfort, there will be accents. And – it will all be funny which is all you really have to know.
Comic Yaaseen Barnes is the opening act in Fortyfied. A perfect foil with his seemingly laid back and well orchestrated awkward presence.
Get to the Baxter and enjoy!
PS: No joke – starting with Theresa Peters’ delicious vegetarian buffet at The Baxter Restaurant ensures that you have a winning night out 🙂
