Get ready to see the Cape Town Opera and the University of Cape Town Opera School stage, The Barber of Seville.

This “Movember” (prostate and testicular cancer awareness month), Cape Town Opera and the University of Cape Town Opera School stage The Barber of Seville, the enduringly popular, hilarious, two-act opera buffa by Gioacchino Rossini. Figaro (Johannes Slabbert/Sandile Sikhosana/Riaan Hunter) helps love-struck Count Almaviva (Makudupanyane Senaoana/Levy Sekgapane) to abduct his sweetheart Rosina (Bongiwe Nakani/Noluvuyiso Mpofu). The production is directed by Christine Crouse and Kamal Khan conducts.
