We focus on the ENERGY section at the interactive Smart Living Challenge Zone at the Two Oceans Aquarium.

The Smart Living Challenge Zone, the new interactive zone at the Two Oceans Aquarium, is an exciting initiative to educate children and adults alike on making smarter choices to preserve and protect the environment.

Four digital interactive installations address the themes of energy, water, waste and biodiversity. Today we focus on ENERGY.

Upon entering the Smart Living Challenge Zone visitors will first encounter the energy exhibit which consists of a 3D cityscape on to which various scenarios are projected. Users will learn about the different types of power generation including solar, wind, coal and nuclear. They will then be challenged to make choices around inter alia lighting, cooking and heating as well designing an energy-efficient home.

The more electricity you save, the more money you and your family save and the more you’re helping our environment.
